Eye Donation awareness mission at Kannad: 11th Jan. 2010: A Gift of Vision: In a training programme at Z.P. Highschool in Kannad, dist. -Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mr. Chandrakant Mugale explained information about Eye donation in his speech. He told about “what is eye donation?”, “who can be benefitted from it?”, “how and where can one donate eyes?”, etc. “How many Blinds are there in d world?”, “How many blinds are there in India?.” He answered all d questions that rose in d eye donation camp. Eye Donation Campaign at Yagyakund: 20th Jan-2010: For public health & interest, world peace and pure enviornment purpose, the sahastrachandi navkundiya yagya was held at Aurangabad. We met the holy saint shiromani shri shri 1008 swami Dharmadas and took his blessings for our eye donation mission. We explained him d eye donation procedure. Jai ambe! Jai mata di! Jai bhawani! Eye Donation Campaign at Khadkeshwar Temple: 12th Feb. 2010:- On the eve of Maha-Shivratri, Vyankatesh Pariwar & Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan jointly organised an eye donation and a blood donation registration camp. Ad. Kishor Soni was honoured to be the chief guest of this programme. He appealed to all d members of Maheshwari samaj for taking efforts for actual eye donations in our country. He also told’em to support Vyankatesh Pariwar in bringing Aurangabad on the top in the quantity of eye donation.
Eye Donation Camp in Gujarat :28th Feb., 2010:- An eye donation camp was held in Vani & Saputara. Many people visited these places on the occasions of Holi & Dhulivandana. Everyone celebrated Holi by playing colors, but we celebrated it by creating eye donation awareness for the sake of bringing colourful sight in the eyes of the blinds. Ad. Kishor Soni took the help of his family (wife-Mrs. Kanchan, daughters-Komal & Disha, & son-Tejas) for the successful completion of this project.
16TH March-2010: “Best social worker of the Year ” Award given by International Social Workers Association to Ad. Kishor Soni for his outstanding work in Eye donation Movement. Jai Netradan!
8th May, 2010:- Campaign in Paithan’s the temple of Nath- As the months of Adhik (Purushottam) is really imp., many people come on the river Godavari near Jayakwadi dam to take a bath, as they believe it is pure. Hence, we took this opportunity & distributed many pamphlets riverside.
Campaign at shanisignapur:Saturday, 22nd May-2010:- On saturday, many people from diff. parts of country visit Shani temple at Shanisignapur to take blessings ofLord Shanidev. We too, took blessings of Lord Shanidev. We successfully created awareness about eye donation. Jai Netradan! Jai Shanidev!
Eye Donation Day: 10th June -2010:- 10 th June is celebrated as “The World Eye Donation day” in the memory of late Dr. Bhalchandra by the Govt. of Maharashtra. The same we do every year. Today we have created awareness about eye donation by distributing eye donation leaflets among people in front of Siddharth Garden & Zoo. President of Vyankatesh Pariwar Ad. Kishor Soni, Mr. Prakash Mantri & miss Disha Soni successfully distributed eye donation pamphlets without any interruption!!! 🙂
18TH & 19TH JULY, 2010: Saint Asaram bapuji Pravachan place:- Saint Asaramji bapu visited Aurangabad for his 2 days satsanga campaign. We took this golden opportunity for campaigning on eye donation awareness. We have created huge awareness about eye donation among people by distributing leaflets. Kishor Soni, Disha Soni, Dr. Kapil Sharma & Komal Soni took hard efforts for this successful project.
Celebration of Gurupurnima: 25th july-2010:- In Hindu culture, Mother is called the first teacher of a child. It is also said that our parents are our first & the best teachers. But unfortunately, now a days, we are forgetting & neglecting our parents. Gurupurnima is a very auspicious day and we celebrated it by worshiping our parents and receiving their blessings. We expect that it will continue to happen every year by us and everyone. Jai Netradan!

The Non Stop Journey of Eye Donation awareness mission :17-12-2010:Lakhmapur-Balaji Yatra: Today we took blessings from “Manav rupi Balaji Bhagwan”(Lord Vyankatesh in Man Role) at Lakhmapur Temple.Here we created awareness about eye donation and its importance by distributing Leaflets with the help of my wife,kids & my companion.Jai Netradan!
